Conrad: "Mom, can you read minds?"
Me: "No."
Conrad: "Good."
Me: "Why?"
Conrad: "Oh, no reason."

Emily: I've been blogging for about four years and I'm writing my profile for the first time. i started blogging to share our family's daily living experiences with out-of-town family. I've kept blogging to create a modern day "baby book" for each of my boys. My boys are what I write about. For good reason; they're funny, sweet, thinkers, curious, creative and, well, adventurous. They greatly enrich my life and challenge me simultaneously. The reflective nature of my blog tends to make me more aware of my strengths and weaknesses. My thoughts are regularly grounded by my desire to first and foremost be the Christ-following woman that God has called me to be. When I see my life through this lens, I am a better wife, mother, person. . . I recently chose a life verse. Micah 6:8 "He has shown you O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
